Dr. Yasir Qadhi’s rational stand about these trivial differences is the need of the time. May Allah SWT bless him and afford us a long time to avail his guidance. He is absolutely right that it is the ignorance of the so called clerics, who try to project their images by igniting these fiery issues and raise their status. May Allah guide them and use them to unite Ummah instead of splitting it.
I invite you to check the video "Aqeedah and its importance in Islam" by brother Mohammed Ali from the Muslim Lantern. It could be hard to navigate these issues as a revert but if you're sincere and open to learn Insha Allah, Allah will make a way for you
Who was more on tawhid then iblis? But what did he do? he refused to pay respect to a prophet and what good was that tawhid?? The Jews are on tawhid but what good is it if they refuse to Honor and accept prophet ﷺ??what good is tawhid if you refuse to love the best of his creation..who is the biggest mercy to the mankind?
How can I, objectively, measure an individual's love for our Nabi (saw)? Is it by how many songs, parties, celebrations and poetries one can produce or following his examples in deeds? Remember Allah commanded our rosul to tell people "if you love Allah, then FOLLOW me". That is follow Muhammad (saw).
Imagine the Prophet is walking on the road, and on the way he hears group of people how they sit together and bring salawats on him and praising Allah. Would the Prophet go and say to them no no no dont do that or he would be happy to hear that. I truly belive he would be happy.
Imaam Maalik rahimahullah said: "He who innovates an innovation in Islaam regarding it as something good, has claimed that Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ has betrayed his trust to deliver the message as Allaah says: {This day have I perfected for you your religion}. [Surah al-Maaidah (5): 3] And whatsoever was not part of the religion then, is not part of the religion today."
Among the innovations made by the companions. Hadith narrated by Bukhari and Muslim from Abu Hurairah ra said. Rasulullah SAW said to Bilal ra after the dawn prayer: "O Bilal. Tell me the best deed you have ever done in Islam? Indeed I heard the sound of your shoes in heaven? "Bilal said: There is no good practice in Islam that I do except every time after I purify myself whether it is night or day unless I perform sunnah prayers. Said Ibnu Hajar in Fathul Bari: Taken from this hadith, one should perform ijtihad in worship because Bilal ra does istinbat and his actions were allowed by His Messenger SAW. Aren't they acts of worship has no text from the Quran and Hadith? He specialized the practice for himself and always did it without referring to the Prophet SAW. His practice was accepted by Allah and became the reason for his entry into heaven. In the narration of Imam Tirmizi he said: With these two rak'ahs that you do, you get a high position. Rasulullah SAW acknowledged the practice devised by Bilal ra and explained the sunnah prayer and ablution to the whole community. His Messenger SAW did not say that Bilal, have committed heresy and will remain in hell. The hadith of Bukhari's narration from Rifaah b Rafi'ra said: We prayed behind the Prophet. When he got up from bowing, he recited Samialallah liman hamidah. A man said: Rabbana walakal hamdu hamdan kasiran toyyiban mubarakan fih. After finishing the prayer, the Prophet SAW asked: Who was it? who spoke so much? Said the man: Me. The words of His Messenger SAW: I saw more than 30 angels fighting to write down those words" Said al-Hafiz Ibnu Hajar in Fathul Bari: This hadith shows that we should make dhikr in prayers that are not ma'sur if the dhikr does not violate what is ma'sur. Nor did the Prophet say to the man in question that this kind of dhikr cannot be done. Every innovation goes astray and goes to hell?
@@Ligg7099I think you're getting it all wrong because when our beloved prophet Muhammad ﷺ was speaking about innovation. He said anyone that performs any deeds that does not conform with the deeds of ours will be rejected. His companions are part of the “ours” mentioned. As soon as deeds performed by a companion are accepted by the prophet khalas, you can never say it's an innovation.
@@ABDULLAHMOHAMMED.6C exactly, if the companions can perform a so-called innovation, why can't we? This means there are good innovation and bad innovations. Mawlid is a good innovation. The ones i mentioned are the good innovation of the companions.
@@Ligg7099 but what is the guarantee that the messenger would've accepted it if we perform that deed. When you obtain from performing some acts just like “mawlid“ Allah will not punish you for not celebrating because you can argue that you didn't find the messenger, nor his companions doing that so you obtained from what they didn't do and you will be safe. But as for the one that celebrates it and cannot relate it to the messenger and his companions, nor the “taabiuun” how can you defend or justify if Allah asks you why you celebrated it while knowingly that the messenger and his companions didn't celebrate or recommend. We do not and never did "celebrate" mawlid like or even close to Christmas. Most importantly, no shopping spree. Sorry to say my dear revert brother/sister. You’re incorrectly informed. In mawlid there’s no shopping, no alcohol, no work parties and no shirk alhumdulillah. The purpose of the mawlid is to commemorate, celebrate the birth of the best of creation (peace and blessings be upon him). And to thank Allah for his birth and the blessing of Islam we have been granted because of him and through him. In todays time more then ever it’s a much needed event as our youths love for our messenger (peace and blessings be upon him) has slowly started to dwindle. May Allah protect us and guide us all. Stay united, people!!! It is very important for us to stay united. Celebrate differences, as long as the act does not make you fall into shirk. At the end of the day, only Allah decides who goes to heaven, and who goes to hell. Never assume you are going to heaven. How can you go to heaven when you are bickering, quarelling, name calling, your brothers in faith??? Like the good Doctor said, leave it, keep quiet, stop bickering over the matter. Unless of course, you are trying to show off, you know, like you think you are smarter, cleverer, more pious than others. Are you???
What is well known with the prophet (SAW) is laying down examples in most living and dying aspects or conditions Muslims may encounter and he adhere strictly to Allah's commandments.
Pure teaching of Muslim brotherhood escaping from telling the truth, from one who considers himself a Muslim scholar The Muslim Umma can't be united except by following the Quran and the authentic hadith of prophet Muhammad (PBUH), the way his companions understood it, especially the Aqeida (belief)
If one wants to celebrate mawlid, he should keep fast on mondays, give charity to the poor, and zikr daroud o salaam as maximum as possible and be pious.
Slmz Bhaijaan Firstly the academic, causes more confusion. We must understand the difference between prayer and worship and culture and religion. We Muslims There no Shia and Sunni If see how the Sunni movement was form, u want to run Let say we're are Muslims Follow Quran, it was send down for Human kind Guide we use Hadith, and all other practices must fall under culture and we respect this.
People who celebrate Mawlid claim they do so out of love for the Prophet. If that's the case, the love the Sahaba had for the Prophet is incomparable, so why didn't they celebrate it? This alone should be enough to understand that it is an innovation. Period!
When it was asked to imam Ahmed ibn Hanbal( radi Allahu anhu), why didn't the sahaba use the relics of the prophet( sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) like he used to do and permit; he replied that the sahaba were with the prophet: they could see him, hear him, pray with him, seek blessings from him, while we don't have that great privilege hence we seek barakah through the relics. Likewise, the sahaba did not need any specific day of remembering the prophet ( sal Allahu alayhi wa sallam) as they were in his blessed company always. Having said that, all that is done on mawlid, like reading the seerah, reciting salawat, giving charity, are all permissible and good things, and sahaba themselves did that.
@@LITTLE-ROCK That didn’t answer the question: When did the Sahaba celebrate his birthday? This is specific and it’s an innovation. One can send salawat to the Prophet every day, without limit, without taking to the streets, causing disruption, or trying to make it seem like Mawlid is part of the religion. Don’t get me wrong, but half the people celebrating Mawlid don’t even pray or know how to pray. Where is the love for the Prophet in that? If you truly want to show love for the Prophet, it’s simple-follow his Sunnah.
@@LITTLE-ROCK No disrespect, brother, but next time you join the rally, ask some people what they know about the Prophet’s Seerah. You’ll soon find that many are just blindly following without any real knowledge.
@@extramilemotiveIt did answer it. Imam Ahmed was asked if sahaba used to touch the pulpit of the prophet( Salam Allahu alayhi wa sallam) and he explained why sahaba not doing so does not make it impermissible for us to do it; in the same way, if there is no report of sahaba observing mawlid on Rabi ul awwal, that doesn't prove the impermissibility of mawlid. If the usool was to do everything exactly as the sahaba did then we won't be able to a lot of things we do as Muslims. Example: science of hadith, dars e nizami or other fixed cirriculum in madrasas, using internet for learning Islam, and more. I also think there are a few things that need to be clarified. First, when we say we celebrate the mawlid, what exactly is meant by celebration? Celebration here means being happy with the arrival of the prophet( Salam Allahu alayhi wa sallam), joining a gathering to read the seerah, recite salawat, and other nawafil deeds:none of which are bidah. The only issue some people have is the fixing of date, but even that is not entirely true because people who observe mawlid observe it round the year, whenever they want. Besides, no scholar of ahlus sunnah has said that it's fard or wajib to hold a gathering of milad on the 12th of Rabi ul awwal. It can be be done anyday or everyday. Lastly, the lack of knowledge among people who observe mawlid has no bearing on mawlid's permissibility. You can find such people in every group. You may have noticed that almost every Muslim makes it a point to not miss the eid prayers, which, although wajib, is not fard; should we then ask them to not come to eid prayers untill they perform their 5 times fard prayers regularly first? Of course not. We welcome them for eid prayers and also encourage them to pray the fard prayers.
@@extramilemotive no idea why my comment was deleted. I'll just try to restate in brief what I wrote. My earlier response did answer the point regarding how mawlid could be permissible if sahaba did not do it. Imam Ahmed( rado Allahu anhu)'s statement regarding relics and why sahaba not using them is no proof of impermissibility, applies to mawlid as well. No scholar has ever used such an usool( the usool that for something to be jayiz the action must be proven in exact form from the sahaba) for ruling on specific fiqhi issues. There are many matters related to our Deen where we do things in innovated forms. Example: the science of hadith, the classification of hadith into sahih and not sahih, a fixed cirriculum like dars e nizami in madrasas, using internet for learning and dawah, and more. The essence of these matters are permissible and hence its specific form is allowed too. You mentioned people observing mawlid not being knowledgeable about the Deen. That doesn't have a bearing on the permissibility of mawlid itself. There are people who seem to be more particular about eid prayers, which although wajib is not fard; but does that mean we stop them from praying eid prayers untill they become regular with their fard prayers? Of course not: we welcome them for eid prayers while also encouraging them to pray fard prayers regularly.I also know of people who emphasize the wearing of cap during salah to an extent that if one starts praying salah in masjid without a cap some people will stare at him in surprise and some people will even try to tell him to get a cap before he starts praying. But the same people don't seem to be as concerned with a clean shaven person praying in the masjid, even though in the fiqh they follow beard is wajib and the cap is not.
Ya Sheikh Yasir Qadir it's the innovations which divides the community. Why we Muslims don't fight over celebration of Eid ul Adha or Eid ul Fitr ? Because its proven from Sunnah, Messenger of Allah used to celebrate these two eids. What's divides the Ummah is the Innovations.

LOOK THE MAWLID SHOULD NOT BE A CELEBRATION BUT A ACT OF GRATEFULNESS. THE PROPHET (s.a.w) USED TO FAST ON A MONDAY BECAUSE HE WAS BORN ON A MONDAY WHAT DOES THAT SUNNAT AND HADITH TELL US IF WE WANT TO COMMEMORATE THE BIRTH OF OUR BELOVED PROPHET (s.a.w) WE SHOULD FAST EVERY MONDAY AND NOT MAKE IT AN ANNUAL THING. What I have said is from Hadith and sunnah so to go against that your bringing sin upon yourself I have not given my opinion I have just showed you something that is better and more beneficial to you.
Brother, I generally agree with you but may I humbly advise you not to use your opinion. This is the way of the Christians and Jews as you hear any time they talk about a jurisprudence issue in their beliefs. We have scholars who say what is halal and haram when there is a disagreement. If it is halal and you choose not to partake, then fine. But as sheikh Yasir said, let us not make it a divisive black and white issue. Salam.
Actually the prophet said about his fasting on mondays and thursdays was because on those two days the deeds of each person are recorded and presented and so he wanted to make the best in deeds in those specific days. So it's recommended but not obligatory.

First of all the prophet s.a.w did not celebrate his birthday nor the sahabas. Are we better than the sahabas? Celebrating birthdays is like glorifying one's life and we as muslims must not do that as this duniya is not our permanent abode

@@_ALIGNARCHITECTS In a fatwa cited by later scholars, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani commented on the Mawlid in a nuanced way. Whatever is wrong done in the name of Eid Milad un Nabi S.A.A.W should be condemned otherwise Muslims conduct many events, celeberations and observations in life and that has a effect of awareness of Deen and unity.
The Prophet sallaAllahu alayhi wa sallam himself did not celebrate, Sahaba did not celebrate, the rightly guided khalifs did not celebrate, the four imams did not celebrate. What if some Ulama have permitted? There also other Ulama who said it's not permitted. An alim should express his opinion/ijtidad with proofs from Quran and Sunnah otherwise we can not say that this ijtihad/opiion is a proof by itself. Verses from the Quran (33:56) where Allah says to send salutations to Muhammad peace be upon him. "He who innovates an innovation in Islaam regarding it as something good, has claimed that Muhammad ﺻﻠﻰ ﺍﻟﻠﻪ ﻋﻠﻴﻪ ﻭﺳﻠﻢ has betrayed his trust to deliver the message as Allaah says:
{This day have I perfected for you your religion}. [Surah al-Maaidah (5): 3]
And whatsoever was not part of the religion then, is not part of the religion

What is well known with the prophet (SAW) is laying down examples in most living and dying aspects or conditions Muslims may encounter and he adhere strictly to Allah's commandments.
Pure teaching of Muslim brotherhood escaping from telling the truth, from one who considers himself a Muslim scholar

But the same people don't seem to be as concerned with a clean shaven person praying in the masjid, even though in the fiqh they follow beard is wajib and the cap is not.
excellent lecture. I think, I will follow your view till I die.
Milad is new concept in islam. This i start first aafter the 400 years of the death of our prophet. So milad is bedat.

Thank you for this insightful talk. On this path Our aim is to know ourselves ,which also means to know others and all. Allah created us in different colours cultures from different lands with individual characteristics...when this is the fact it leads us to natural differences . The test is to unite despite the differences
The mawlid is needed more than ever today .. with the massive attack on islam .. we need to show and build the love for the prophet Muhammad P.B.U.H ❤
Did the prophet request for that. Islam is completed. Do what is accepted in Islam
@@_ALIGNARCHITECTS I will always get together with my Muslim brothers and send salawaat and praises on the prophet, you should aswell.
@abzabz1 yes but not creating innovations that wasn't established during the time of the Prophet Muhammad (sallaLLAAahu alaihi wa salam)
The Messenger of Allah (ﷺ) said, “He who innovates something in this matter of ours (i.e., Islam) that is not of it will have it rejected (by Allah).” [Bukhari & Muslim] In another version in Muslim it reads: “He who does an act which we have not commanded, will have it rejected (by Allah).”
Making sal8to our Prophet is good encouraged and compulsory when his name his been heard or said. Which can be done at any time. But setting aside a day , like celebrating or celebration is not permissible
@@_ALIGNARCHITECTS In a fatwa cited by later scholars, Ibn Hajar al-Asqalani commented on the Mawlid in a nuanced way. He stated that celebrating the Mawlid, as long as it is done with the intention of honoring the Prophet Muhammad and not involving any forbidden activities (such as extravagance or sinful behavior), could be considered a praiseworthy innovation (bid‘ah hasanah). He acknowledged that while the Prophet and the early generations (the Salaf) did not celebrate the Mawlid, the act of gathering to recite Qur'an, praise the Prophet, and give charity on this occasion could bring blessings if done with the right intention.
This is the position I take .. ^^
Biddah is forbidden in Islam.
Tell me! what is bidah?
What do u say about the 2 azans on Fridays?
Allaahu a'lam ! May Allah guide us in the right paths and give us beneficial knowledge.🤲
The wisdom here is not who is right and who is wrong. There is a spectrum of opinion. Don't divide. Be good to one another
That's the precise take over this issues 👍🏻

Who does not want to be happy about SAW birth, my question to them is do they ever feel happy or celebrate anything in life? Or they are just indifferent as lifeless things? Did they even celebrate their wedding or birth of a child?
Please can anyone tell us what is the basis behind the fasting observed by the holy prophet Muhammad saw on every Mondays ' his birthday '.
It is reported that Monday is also the day Muhammad (SAW) received the first Quranic Revelation.
You absolutely do not know the youth. QURANISM/Hadith rejectors is growing fast among the young generation and love for our Beloved prophet (SAW) is dwindling. The fact is that in Rabbi Al Awal is the month our beloved Prophet mentioned the most personally. It's the only way to keep alive his blessed memory for future generations.
But he nor the sahabas celebrated the prophet's birthday. So why should we.
MasyaAllah …
And yes, Mawlid is not a simple gathering, it's like and Eid but in Islam we have only two eids. That's it. Prophet used to fast every Monday and Thursday. This is the Sunnah.
Maulid-ur-rasul is a way to remember prophet MuHD pbuh...his hardship ,jihad ,hijrah and his love towards humanity.Allahumma-solli-ala saidina muhamadin waala-alihi wasahbihi wassalim..
Mawlid was celebrated from centuries around the world. Tell those who became wahabi and stopped celebrating mawlid. They need to return to ahle sunnah the real islam.
Bring the proof from Quran and hadith
@elelolo6225 firstly if you would have read the Quran and hadees, then you would have read the proofs yourself. This clearly shows you are illiterate of Quran o Hadees.
Ma sha Allah, beautiful way of narration. When I started watching this video, I had no idea that you would please both parties without breaking the true meaning of Islam.
RELIGIOUS BIRTHDAY CELEBRATIONS AROUND THE WORLD
KHORDAD SAL-Birthday of prophet Zarashtura (Majoosi)
VESAK-Birthday of Buddha
GURU NANAK GURPURAB-Birthday of guru Nanak (Sikh)
KRISHNA JANMASTAMI-Birthday of god Krishna (Hindu)
CHRISTMAS-Birthday of Jesus
MAWLID-Birthday of the Rasulullah SAW
Islam is not abt celebration of birthdays.... Only Eid and nikahs are 'celebrated' the SUNNAH way...... Islam is a religion of good manners and character building.... Study the seerah of the prophet saw....
No celebration birthdays, too much activity beyond what Allah and his messenger orders is a burden
An important takeaway from this video is that instead of fighting amongst ourselves over small differences it's important to be united over common beliefs and practices
Alhamdolillah.
@@Abdurraoof80 it isn't small difference. it is bidaa it is just below shirk and above haraam.
@@abdulsalamkunnilan7405 for this bid'ah Issue, our Ulama is in khilaf, brother, in different opinions. Let's them alone in discussion [yet, it has been centuries]: we are lay people, without much knowledge is better to observe and learn, and follow our own undertanding, with acknowledgement that others might be in different choice of understanding
If it was to teach our young generation the proper Islam, as he said in the beginning, then why didn't he do that? All he said was respect the difference of opinions. But what is the right opinion that we need to teach our youth, he should have elaborated on that. A little disappointed by this lecture.
He started with a disclaimer that this sermon was not academic and wasn't meant to discuss the fiqh of this subject.
Why are you surprised then that his opinion on the subject wasn't given?
I'm sorry youve missed the point, and dint understand the religion!! there is ek tilaf, we have 4 diff madjabs, ALL ARE CORRECT, BUT THEY HAS DIFF opinions ofnhow to pray etc. so your question in itself is incorrect
wat does 'opinion' mean. beauty of our religion you can have 2 differing of opinions of WHICH BOTH ARE CORRECT, Look at sheikhs eg of the asr and margib event, one group of sahaba prayed asrandnother followed beloved prophet pbuh instructions and delayed asr and guess wat BOTH WERE CORRECT.
As long as you are following the pillars of Islam then forget all other issues that do not in any way contradic them. By celebrating mawlid at least every muslim is united on that day. The whole world comes to know of the unity. And muslims too increase their faith and love and respect on their Prophet Muhammad S.a w. But importantly we brothers need to propagate peace and discipline and not behave rowdily.
Agree. For me celebrating maulid nowadays very useful since our ummah majority not know seerah of our prophet. You know why certain King make their nirthday compulsary. Why. because its remind people sbout who is the ruler
Quran and Hadith is good enough reminder habibi. Why do you need to celebrate something that even the celebrant himself never did along with the people around him til their death, and now after thousand years this celebration came, from whom? From Saitan, nonetheless.
@jdesignx4829 so you are OK with posting videos celebrating Onam and Jai Hind and Jai Mata Di and other Kafir festivals but it's not okay to celebrate the birth of the best of creation who brought us the pathway to Allah 😅
@@wazirseyed5807 i am working in an Indian company, what do you expect? I am uploading it for my client's reference of my skills.
Did I preach or encourage any muslim to do any celebration? Think before you speak 🗣️.
@@wazirseyed5807 who ask you to celebrate his birthday? Did he(SAW)? Did his followers celebrate?
Hahaha 🤣 what a joke way of countering an argument by checking his or her job. Respond to the question and not diverted it.
Periodically there are splitting of hairs amongst immature ulemas and those who follow them blindly. Being insulting and demeaning others is the order of the day. If we are looking for explicit literal statements, then we will be confined to dogmas. The Beauty of Islam is dynamic in its principles.
Those who are blind followers and dogmatic.
“The Jews say, "Ezra is the son of Allah "; and the Christians say, "The Messiah is the son of Allah." “....
“They have taken their scholars and monks as lords besides Allah”

@ Yasir Qadhi. Wasted 23 mins on your video, you have quoted all irrelevant examples for the related subject of Milad. There’s no controversy about milad among Sahabas so there’s non point you giving irrelevant examples. Milad is obsolutely Biddaah. It’s like following the same path of Christian’s how they deviated from the teachings of Essa Alai salaam.
💯 TRUTH OUR UMMAH IS SUFFERING OUR CHILDREN AND BROTHERS AND SISTERS OUR AGED ARE SUFFERING UNITE AND SAVE OUR UMMAH ENOUGH IS ENOUGH WE ARE THE UMMAH OF MUHAMMAD SAW UNITE AND BE THE TRUTHFUL AND LOVE ONEANOTHER
DO NOT DIVIDE OH MUSLIMEEN AND MUSLIMAAT. REMEMBER INNAMAL A’MAALU BINNIYYAAT. ALLAH KNOWS AND HE LOVES HIS CREATIONS.
It's business. Nothing religious bro. It busuness
That's great talk, My Allah bless you, I learn from you
I hear u, but where we not suppose to follow the nabi Salalahu alayhi wasalam, end of story. If he did it, we follow, if he did not, we don't
Bismillah. Nope. You're not allowed to celebrate any Prophet's birthday.
Lets see who celebrates, its very important for those who thinks
Celebrate - Gaza, Palestine, Yemen, Iraq, Libya, India, Pakistan, Malaysia Indonesia Egypt etc.
Not celebrate : Saudi and where they have exported wahabis.
Whats important to note that those who celebrate are stil loyal to the deen even poor and surrounded with calamities.
Who not celebrate are rich but disloyal and always behave as puppet, no dignity
The reason why the Mawlid and other activities were practice in certain town was because of UNITY apart from other fard activities .. don't take me wrong if you were reared in areas where you want Unity in the community, you try to get the whole commmunty at the masjied to Salaah all waqtoes and do good activities to again UNITE THE COMMUNITY
We are Muslims from different cultures and races.
We mustn't be subjected by Arab cultures.
Respect each person culture
The prophet peace be upon him would fast on mondays because that was the day he was born.
So?
Fasting isn't the same as the deviant sect style birthday celebrations.
Celebrating birthdays are not allowed in Islam
@@aneeskemal4431 The only deviant sects are deobandism and salafism who reject mawlids.
The only being that disliked the birth of the Muhammad peace be upon him was shaitaan. So i am always curious to see the logic behind people who do not follow the mawlid.
All 4 school of thoughts accept the mawlid using examples such as Muslim, 1162, where the Prophet peace be upon him would fast on mondays because it was the day he was born.
Verses from the Quran (33:56) where Allah says to send salutations to Muhammad peace be upon him.
HOWEVER, one thing i do agree is when people over step the boundary of the mawlid especially from what i have seen from the south asian community.
To add, sending salawaat to Muhammad peace be upon him is not restricted to this month but is said in greater quantities etc.
Regardless, what the point of the videos is we should not be arguing over these things as this is what shaitaan wants - to divide us and create enmity among the ummah.
So its a special a day , we can have ikhtilaf issue on what to do
The bidda is not doing anything on prophets mawlid , which the deviant sects are doing @aneeskemal4431

2. If he was fasting, it means it's not a hoIiday or Eid, remember.
3. It was Ithnain/Monday and the rest of the hadith says my acts are presented by the angels every Ithnain/Monday and Khamis/Thursday - so he said i like to fast this time, so it has nothing to do with the b-day.
MashaAllah Azzawajal....TabarakAllah Azzawajal...
Its permissible. No angle to look at. Its a sunny. May Allah reward those. That do and reward those who dont
Celebrating their kids, mothers ,fathers and wider family members birthday is ok, but acknowledging the prophet PBUH birth is bidah - can not believe what the scholars have done to this ummah.
It's pretty simple to be honest, one side wants a purer version of Islam that is closer to the one practiced during the best times..another side wants to add stuff as they practice the religion. Which one actually brings more fitna thus arguments..? It's pretty obvious that no matter what there would always be those that always want the practices in the name of religion to be closest to the original practices, therefore is it really worth the fitna our ummah suffers to add in new unnecessary innovation into the already perfect religion? I'm no cleric but I sure don't want to be questioned why I supported the one that brings more fitna, when not doing them is purer not to mention less fitna :shrugs:
Did the Prophet SAW ever celebrate birthday? Did the first 3 generations of which Prophet Muhammad SAW said are to be the best generations, ever celebrate his birthday? If he was alive today, and people are celebrating his birthday he wouldn’t even be celebrating.
1. It’s a biddah
2. It’s imitating kuffar, as the kuffar celebrate birthday
